Freezing Cookies and Cookie Dough Article
The ability to freeze cookies is a way to get yourself out of a bind. For example, one day you could freeze a whole truckload (well, almost) of cookies and then when you have company drop in unexpectedly (UNEXPECTEDLY!), you can get out some cookies and make hot chocolate or herb tea. Voila! You are a hero.

For the Ferret Enthusiasts | Pets In Touch: Celebrity & News shares your Hollywood pet stars news, pet fashion and pet information.
Do you know that a non-profit organization called International Ferret Congress exists? They are actually a continuation of the International Ferret Symposium Committee, who organized the first Ferret Symposium in LasVegas back in 2002 and brought together more than 135 ferret owners, shelters across the country, club members, ferret breeders and veterinarians to learn about these wonderful animals and share the love for these small mammals.
The main objective of the IFC is to sponsor educational symposiums and forums related to ferrets. The IFC has just announced the next big event for all ferret lovers. It will take place in Phoenix, Arizona and will be held from June 3rd to June 5th of 2011. Save the dates.
Information on accommodations, cost of the event and featured speakers will be available soon at the IFC website. www.ferretcongress.com.Written by: Antonio Muniz

This picture is a little bit squished up, but I was able to view it in high definition and in the right format and it is absolutely adorable.

fresh content for your blog
So, where do you get ideas for fresh content? Well, it really depends upon what your blog is all about. One thing you could do is to read the news and then give a review or opinion about something in the news.
If you like to read and review books, then choose something off the bestseller list or go to your local library and find something interesting or strange. People like to read about unusual things, too. Then do a book review on what you have read. If you are monetizing your blog, then you could also put a link there for your reader to buy that book. Maybe your review will interest them so much that they want to immediately click on the button and buy that book. You have just created another satisfied customer.
If you really think about it, there are 4 things available on the internet, and they are information, products, advertising and services. Some are at no cost and some you have to pay for. A blog offers its readers some great information usually at no monetary cost. The only investment is the time it took to read it. If they like what they've read then they will keep coming back for more. If they offer a great service such as search engine optimization from Lethbridge SEO, then the customer will always come back. Some people have great success by selling physical products on their blog. Then there's the advertising component. Some businesses use internet advertising to send customers to their website or to their local business location. On the other end of that stick are people looking for something in particular and they look at the advertising in order to find it.
When building and marketing your website take into consideration the type of customer you think you are looking for. Then you will have a better idea of how to structure your website and what kind of advertising to use.

some musings
Books will never go out of style, I hope. Yes I do love trees and I do love the thought of not having to use natural resources to make books, but the look, feel and smell of paper cannot be compared. My daughter has an ereader and I think I would love one too, but I would have a hard time giving up my paper books. Maybe it's old fashioned. Yet I still see lots of books being published in paper; I wonder if it will ever really go out of style?
7 Architectural Wonders of the Natural World : WebEcoist
Okay, I am not scared of spiders and never have been. However, I must tell you right now that looking at that giant spider web has me totally creeped out. It is both disgusting and amazing all at once.
I don't think I would be wandering into that web...

Hinterland Who's Who - Blue Jay
The bluejay is a beautiful and remarkable bird. Their ancestors have been discovered in fossils dating back more than 25 million years.
The blue jay is mostly vegetarian but carries a reputation of stealing other bird's eggs from their nests.
The blue jay is not a large bird, being only a little larger than a common Robin. Even though it's feathers appear to be a vivid blue color, it is actually a trick of the light that makes them appear to be that way.
I have only ever seen 1 bluejay in my life, and they really look blue and really are beautiful. The bluejay loves to chatter, and is a quick, sometimes aggressive bird.
It is an animal that is very interesting to read about, and I recommend following further.
This made me cry with laughter... So cute!!
This cute tiny turtle is trying her hardest to eat this tiny cherry tomato. Poor girl tries so many times until finally someone hangs on to the tomato so it won't scoot across the table.
It is amazing that turtles come in huge sizes, as in the size of five full-grown men put together, and they also come in tiny sizes, where you can fit 4 or 5 of them in the palm of your hand.
I don't know if any other species has such a wide variety of size within the species set. Well, maybe snakes...

Local News Articles
You could write about your opinion of local news, what is happening in your community, and have spotlights of local businesses as well.
This is a good way to get a load of local readership. Think what you could do with that :-)
You could use a self-hosted blog or start out with a free platform like Blogger for your local news, or even Tumblr, Wordpress.com or Posterous.
You could really have a lot of fun with this project.
