It starts with just the right blend of a Hawaiian sweet donut dough. This dough is then dropped in round globs into a deep fryer and specially fried to perfection. Then they are rolled in icing sugar. A heavenly coconut sauce, kind of like a thin icing but not as sweet is available for dipping. But the keke taste so good on their own, you hardly need the coconut sauce for dipping. It's amazing.

Our local farmer's market is where the crew hangs out, and you can better believe that the table is busy. Once you taste the keke you can never get enough. It would be a sin to compare them to donuts because they are literally so much better!

Wow that's quite a photograph. The eye of the Cyclone looks very ominous as it approaches Western Australia. It's amazing what they can do these days with tracking weather patterns and predicting when and where storms will hit and how severe they will be. It always helps to have advance notice to be prepared.

It has a lesson on how we need to treat the earth and take care of the valuable resources we have and that we shouldn't be so careless in what we do. Oh this rice porridge just looks sooooooo good! Our family is very whole-grain oriented, but I totally agree with Dr. Ben Kim's statement that cooked white rice can be a healthy food choice in some circumstances.

And when the body can't tolerate a lot of fiber, white rice can give nutrition the body needs to heal in an easily digestible form.

Another interesting thing about white rice is this: Mothers with colicky babies can use the water that white rice was boiled in. Cooled off, this rice water helps to reduce or even eliminate colic.

I'm not sure whether I would want my rice porridge with something sweet like cinnamon and raisins or with something savory like fermented soy. I think I would like both.

Years ago I used to have rice pudding my Grandma made. I think it was more like the cinnamon and sugar version.

I have never liked cold pizza. In fact I think it is quite yucky. But I do love warmed up, leftover pizza. It is quite tasty indeed. What I like best about it is the convenience. Yes! SOPA and PIPA bills did not pass today; they got postponed. They are poorly written and must not be passed in the present state in which they are written. Headlines at Forbes say, "Obama says so long SOPA, Killing controversial internet piracy legislation."

Many big website owners today such as Wikipedia, Reddit and Major League Gaming blacked out today. I was affected by the Warrior Forum's blackout, and noticed that Wordpress.org and Wordpress.com also joined the protest.

So apparently what happened is that Obama stepped in and said that he wouldn't support the bill. Good move.

I heard that a certain domain name registrar (the one with racing car girls in tight shirts) supported the bill and lost 10,000 customers within hours over that. Ouch!...They withdrew their statement. But please don't quote me on that. Go look it up. I hope I haven't spread a rumor. Well, it will be interesting to see what happens next.
