This little blue-ringed octopus is remarkably beautiful. What an amazing colorful creation of nature! Apparently it is only about the size of a golf ball, and is extremely poisonous. It delivers a neuro-toxin in its venom that will produce paralysis. Left untreated, the victim suffers cardiac arrest. Not a great way to die. Unfortunately, there is no antivenin for its venom. I think I will be avoiding these little guys if I ever see one.
