So isn't this an absolutely beautiful scene? The article talks about multi-billion dollar projects for Chile which would give them more energy and raise the economy. But the drawbacks? Flooding land, destroying habitat and driving out species that make the area their home. One of the species, the Southern Humuel Deer, would see its natural habitat destroyed. Where would it go? It might be wiped out! What a shame and what a pity. The environmental review voted to back the project and move it forward.
It's a crying shame. People are protesting it across Chile.
